The Ranch is located South and west of Tucson AZ and includes the small town of Arivaca AZ. Though remote, the ranch is close to town with paved roads, electricity, phone and school bus pickup on the ranch. The ranch is very well watered by 15 wells many with pipe lines and 36 dirt tanks. The majority of the dirt tanks have been cleaned and are full. The Arivaca area is known for a very shallow water table with static water levels ranging from 40 to 150 ft. The ranch consists of Arizona State, USFS, BLM, private lease and adverse grazing. The elevation ranges from 3,600 feet in the lower country to 4,700 feet in the upper country. The majority of the ranch ranges from 3,700 to 4050 feet. The ranch is very well watered with 15wells, and 30 dirt tanks. There is a wide range and abundance of vegetation consisting of annuals, perennial grasses, and browse. Average rainfall ranges from about 16 inches in the lower country to 18 inches in the upper country.
